1. Mold
Exhaust is not solely solved by molds. For the characteristics of PP materials, the temperature range is very wide, and their flow performance is superior. If the exhaust groove of the mold is opened too large or positioned incorrectly, it cannot be discharged correctly, and it is also prone to flash defects. Therefore, correct exhaust is effective.
2. Process
Mastering the correct tuning skills is very effective in practical work.
1) If the screw rotation speed is reduced, the temperature of the molten material can be uniform, and the chances of air entrainment should be small. If the screw rotation speed is too fast, the chances of air entrainment should be more; The molten material is subjected to a large shear force from the screw, which generates heat due to friction and leads to uneven temperature of the molten material. The molten material decomposes and produces gas.
2) Raising the mold temperature can benefit high pressure and slow filling to gain time. If the mold temperature is too low, the product surface is prone to premature freezing, and slow filling cannot be achieved, which may lead to glue shortage.
3) Reduce the injection speed, the faster the speed, the faster the gas is compressed, and the higher the temperature. The slower the speed, the slower the gas compression, which is more conducive to the discharge of gas.
4) Locking force: The greater the locking force, the worse the exhaust effect on the surface of the cavity. The smaller the locking force, the better the exhaust effect on the surface of the cavity.
