Preventative maintenance on a regular basis keeps unexpected problems and expensive down time from happening. Based on what we have seen work best, these are important maintenance pieces of advice to prevent frequent downtime:
Implement Rigorous Daily Cleaning: Material residues, dust and debris cause appliances to become damaged and not function well. Regular cleaning is very important for our machines. Pay particular attention to the area where the mold is, where the clamping takes place and the hopper for the materials. Make sure the vents and cooling fans are not blocked. Following this step helps avoid many problems that often occur.
Prioritize Hydraulic System Health: An IMM relies on its hydraulic system for proper function. Shenzhou Machinery makes routine checks of oil levels and quality. Watch the temperature of the oil so that it does not get too high–this can affect its quality. Do oil changes when we recommend and always use the recommended hydraulic fluid. Make it a habit to inspect all the hoses and fittings for small leaks or damage; if going unnoticed such leaks can indicate issues and may result in low pressure or tainted water.
Conduct Systematic Electrical Inspections: Electrical components are easily damaged. Arrange regular inspections of wiring, connectors and control cabinets. Monitor for signs of slack connections, rust or areas that get too hot during operation. Clean and dust electrical panels regularly to stop shorts and damage to the components. Test that all safety interlocks and emergency stop buttons are working properly as required by Shenzhou’s operational guidelines.
Lubricate Mechanical Components According to Schedule: Correct lubrication is key for the long-term working of the toggle, ejector rods and ball screws. Shenzhou Machinery includes special lubrication spots and timeframes in the manual for every machine. Always lubricate your bike using only the referred lubricants and the recommended quantity–excess or lacking lubrication is bad for your bike. Carefully document every time lubrication is done.
Schedule Professional Preventative Maintenance: Before any problem arises, occasional expert maintenance services are extremely important. Shenzhou Machinery advises that PM is best done when we have advised it. We make sure to do full checks, calibrate key parameters (clamping force and injection pressure), deep clean the machine’s systems, exactly inspect wear parts and replace worn components proactively. BEM identifies and takes care of problems before they may cause the network to fail and cause unplanned downtime.
